Plan the costs
Plan a supportive housing budget
A room rate is only one part of a housing budget. Start with a written quote from the residence, add expenses paid separately, and keep one-time move-in costs apart from recurring monthly costs.
What does supportive housing cost?
There is no published Ocean Breeze rate on this website. Ask our team for the current room rate, included amenities, any upfront or recurring charges, payment timing and applicable written terms. A price for another provider’s program is not an Ocean Breeze quote.
When comparing residences, use the same categories. Ask whether each expense is included, separate, optional or not yet known. Furnishings, utilities, food, laundry supplies, transportation and outside care should not automatically be treated as one bundled price.
- Monthly: housing charge plus any recurring expenses you pay separately.
- One time: moving, setup and any required upfront charges. A refundable deposit still affects the cash needed to move; confirm its terms and timing separately.
- Unknown: keep a list of amounts you have not confirmed. A blank field in this tool is treated as zero, not as proof that the expense is free.
Ask the relevant provider or insurer about any specific benefit or coverage question. This calculator does not determine insurance, subsidy or program eligibility.
Your housing planning calculator
Use a whole number of months to compare a planning period. This multiplies recurring monthly expenses and adds one-time costs once; it does not prorate daily charges or model refunds.
Enter your own figures. Leave an included expense at 0 to avoid counting it twice. Blank fields count as 0, so a partial total will omit any costs you have not entered.

The calculator runs in this page. Its entries are not saved or sent by the calculator and clear when you reload.
Before relying on your total
- Remove duplicates. If a service is part of the housing charge, do not enter it again as a separate expense.
- Separate cash due now from later costs. The first-month result is a planning sum. Your actual payment dates may differ.
- Check the time period. At Ocean Breeze, the 30-day minimum and typical 12–18-month stay are different measures. Read the length-of-stay explanation and confirm the agreement.
- Return to unknown items. A calculation is only as complete as the figures entered. Confirm food, transportation, fees and outside-care arrangements before making a decision.
- Keep the written quote. Record when it was provided and the room or arrangement it covers. Reconfirm if your timing or room choice changes.
